Fries&Friends brings authentic Belgian fries to a broad audience - fully halal. With their first location in Beringen and a team of five, they’re active in the foodservice sector. Since autumn 2024, we’ve been guiding them from day one.

Building a brand across borders

The person behind Fries&Friends lives in Switzerland and was deliberately looking for a Belgian agency with local market insights. They found in us a transparent, no-nonsense partner that thinks along and gets things done.

Our role? To be a strategic sparring partner who helps build a strong brand - from story to visual identity, from strategy to execution.

From brand strategy to the menu board

Our work started with an intensive brand journey: workshops on brand strategy, a clear brand pyramid, and a full brand identity that even influenced the interior design.

We rolled out the brand in every detail: aprons, caps, stickers, digital screens, exterior signage. Online, everything was developed too: website, social media, photoshoots, content planning and campaigns.

Concrete campaigns (such as Google Display and Facebook) also helped boost online ordering.

In the driver’s seat, with a co-pilot

We started with bi-weekly status meetings, but today the collaboration is more ad hoc. F&F steers their own course and calls on us for strategic or creative input as needed.

Results?

A strong brand, organic and paid visibility, and most importantly: a client who knows exactly who they are, what they stand for, and how to communicate it consistently.

A fry experience that speaks to everyone

Fries&Friends came to us for more than just communication. They needed a brand, a positioning, and a way to tell their unique story.

Their special angle? Bringing a 100% halal, authentic Belgian fries experience. That requires a marketing approach that appeals to the Muslim community while remaining inclusive.

The investor wasn’t Belgian, so local knowledge was crucial. We provided that local insight - along with strategic empathy and clear direction.
