Astara
Astara imports and sells vehicles from Suzuki, MG, Maxus, KGM, Isuzu and Hyundai. With around 167 employees, they are a fixture in Belgium’s automotive sector. After many years in Kontich, the company recently moved its operations to Mechelen.

From first meeting to lasting trust
Astara has been a client of deBottomline since our founding in 2013. We started with Suzuki, when their marketing team was looking for a new CRM partner. That led to a few small assignments – and our speed, efficiency and transparent way of working made a real impression. Over time, almost all of their other brands followed. Together we’ve launched and built projects, and once they were mature enough, we handed them over. The result? Tools, knowledge and insights that helped them grow - while allowing us to keep moving forward too.
From CRM to campaigns and everything in between
Our role has grown significantly over the years:
- CRM & marketing automation: from basic tools to full-fledged systems
- Customer journey optimisation: generating insights and improving touchpoints
- Internal communication: structure and content, including a dealer academy with marketing webinars
- Creative concepts and campaigns: from strategy to execution
Working together with clarity and pace
The collaboration is seamless. We know Astara inside and out – half a word is enough. That’s how we stay fast and proactive, and still surprise them with fresh ideas.
Competing in a layered market
Astara’s biggest challenge is generating and converting leads through a distribution network they don’t own. Dealers often have different priorities, while the importer still wants to drive sales. That dependency and the market’s complexity create a unique dynamic.

The team’s down-to-earth approach and communication style make the collaboration smooth and enjoyable! They’re super flexible and always meet deadlines. One word: TOP TEAM.
