Waasland Shopping

Waasland Shopping is a leading shopping centre in Sint-Niklaas and the largest in East Flanders. Since 2018, we’ve worked together to strengthen their communications - first through the “offline shopping” concept and since 2023 under the refreshed “shopping for fun” theme.

More than a mall, a creative playground

What started as a strategic and creative collaboration evolved into a close partnership. Today, we also support them graphically and help shape their year-round communication plan. Waasland Shopping found in us a partner who thinks and moves with them - strategically, creatively and humanly.

No communication without direction

We co-manage all strategic and creative communications - from target group analysis and planning to graphic design, digital campaigns, media buying and print. Everything starts with a clear yearly plan, while staying flexible enough to seize trends or last-minute opportunities.

From counterreaction to invitation

For years, the focus was on “offline shopping” as a counter-message to online convenience. In 2023, we evolved the concept into “shopping for fun”: a more positive approach focused on experience, relaxation and fun. We now invest even more in brand preference and top-of-mind awareness via digital campaigns, DOOH and inspiring content.

Result? Growing visitor numbers year after year and increased interest from new brands. Waasland Shopping is alive and well - and you can feel it.

Lure them online, engage them offline

How do you trigger people online to shop offline? Especially during COVID, this was a major challenge. Today the question has shifted: how do we remain top-of-mind in a changing market where experience reigns supreme? It’s hard to link campaigns directly to footfall, but we clearly see a positive impact. By strengthening the brand and remaining creatively present, we build for the long term. The numbers - and the trust - speak for themselves.
